Tauranga is situated in the Bay of Plenty. The surrounding clear pristine waters offer numerous oceanic based activities including swimming with dolphins, diving, game fishing and surfing. The area features many first class golf courses and there is white water rafting, jet boating and 4 WD thrills for the adventurous. Alternatively, a relaxing time can be spent visiting a winery or soaking in either hot mineral or the unique hot salt water pools. Tauranga has restaurants, cafes and shopping precincts and offers the visitor an extensive range of accommodation. It is little wonder the area is called "The Coast with the Most".
