Brisbane is a city in eastern Australia and capital of the state of Queensland. The third largest city in Australia it is a seaport on the Brisbane River, near Moreton Bay. This cosmopolitan city hosts a good street cafe scene, a great riverside park, a busy cultural calendar and decent nightlife. Brisbane has broad streets, numerous parks, and many modern buildings and a near-perfect climate year-round. To walk around the old city follow the golden arrows set into the footpath and see Brisbane's remaining early buildings. Buildings of interest include Parliament House, the town hall, Brisbane Museum, and the buildings of the University of Queensland opened in 1910.
